A Comfortable, Women-Focused Space

Welcoming, not intimidating.

Monday at AQ is designed to feel welcoming rather than intimidating: somewhere women can meet for brunch, attend a workshop, talk business, discover a community, enjoy food or settle in for a film.

AQ Foodhall is positioned as an alcohol-free, community and family-friendly venue. The Monday programme gives women, mums, founders, professionals, creatives, community groups and organisations a recurring place to meet and participate.

One Monday. Four Different Reasons to Come.

Come for one block, or stay all day.

10AM-1PM

Coffee, Brunch, Community & Wellbeing

Ease into Monday with women's coffee and brunch, parent and mum meet-ups, wellbeing groups, community organisations, informal book-club conversations, women's health and support organisations, and breakfast meetings. This block is designed for connection: a comfortable daytime space to meet people, discover support, build community and enjoy food together.

1PM-4PM

Female Founders, Business, Beauty & Wellness

The afternoon turns towards growth, skills and self-care. Expect female founders and women in business, beauty demonstrations, wellness workshops, hair, makeup and skincare, yoga and Pilates, female-owned business pop-ups, and employment or enterprise sessions. If you run a women's business, workshop, wellbeing service or useful community experience, this is one of the strongest Monday blocks to apply to host.

4PM-7PM

Books, Conversation & Networking

Finish the working day around ideas and people. Monday's early evening can include book clubs, author talks, women's panels, female-founder conversations, networking, food and social time. Come to listen, contribute, meet someone new or build a relationship that continues beyond Monday.

7PM ONWARDS

Macha Movie Mondays

Monday night becomes Macha Movie Mondays: food, film and conversation with female-led films, Bollywood, international cinema, classics, documentaries, premieres and special guests where appropriate. Some screenings may be paired with a conversation, comedy or discussion connected to the film. The regular film can begin around 10pm where the format works for that week's programme.

Why Host Your Women's Event at AQ?

Food, community and programming, already together

A morning group can become brunch. A workshop can lead into networking. A panel can flow into food and conversation. A film can become an evening experience. The programme is designed to build repeat attendance rather than one-off footfall, giving strong partners the opportunity to become part of a recurring Monday identity.
