Built for Students Who Want More Than a Club Night

One venue, a full day.

AQ Student Day is not only an evening event. The point is that students can use the venue differently across the day. You can study in the morning, meet your society in the afternoon, stay for a mixer after class and finish the night with entertainment. It is all without changing venue.

AQ Foodhall is an alcohol-free, community and family-friendly venue, giving students, societies and organisers a different kind of social setting in Birmingham. That makes the page especially relevant for international students, faith-based societies, cultural societies, university groups and students who want social experiences that are not built around alcohol.

Why Host Your Student Event at AQ?

More than a room

AQ gives student organisers a venue where study, food, gaming, society activity, social experiences and evening entertainment can sit together. That creates more opportunities to recruit members, bring new students into your community, run a competition, host a takeover or turn a society activity into a wider campus event. The long-term goal is to build towards active university societies participating every Tuesday, making AQ a recurring student destination rather than a one-off event space.
